This November, One Shamanism goes to Web Summit in Lisbon. We are part of the ALPHA programme for early-stage startups, and I will be at our stand to show The Path of the Paws, the spirit animal app that grew out of my oracle deck.
When and where
Web Summit runs from 9 to 12 November 2026 at the MEO Arena and the FIL exhibition centre in Parque das Nações, Lisbon. ALPHA startups exhibit on one day of the event. You can find our day and stand on our Web Summit profile.
Why a spirit animal app at a tech conference
Most apps you will see at Web Summit want as much of your attention as they can get. The Path of the Paws only needs a few minutes. You open it, meet your spirit animal for the day and read its message. If you have time, you stay for a short practice: a guided meditation, a shamanic drum journey, a breathing exercise or an NLP coaching question. Then you put your phone down again.
I want to show that an app can pass on an old practice without watering it down. I wrote all the text in the app myself, out of my work with people in shamanism and NLP. Nothing in it is generated. Your journal stays on your phone, and there is no account, no tracking and no advertising.
What you can try at the stand
- Meet your spirit animal for today.
- Find your seven inner spirit animals with a short journey.
- Try one of the guided NLP coaching exercises with your animal.
- Ask me anything about shamanism, the app or working together.
