Day 1: Arriving: Your Sacred Space

Today’s focus: The course doesn’t start with working on yourself — it starts with making space for yourself.

🎥 Your video for Day 1 will appear here soon.

Today’s Teaching

Welcome. Before anything else happens in these 21 days — before any releasing, before any healing, before any transforming — you make space. This is where it all begins.

In shamanic traditions, every healing begins by opening a space, both outwardly and inwardly. You create a container. Not because you need to be “spiritual” or perfect or to do anything particularly complicated, but because self-love needs a home. It needs a place where you can turn your attention inward without interruption. An altar doesn’t need to look a certain way. It is simply your statement: “Here, in this small corner, I am taking myself seriously for the next 21 days.”

Think of it as creating a sacred conversation space — with yourself. Just as you might tidy up and light a candle before a friend comes over, you are now doing this for the relationship with the most important person in your life. You.

Your altar can be a shelf, a small table, even a corner of your nightstand. The physical act of creating it — gathering three things, arranging them, lighting a candle — this is not superstition. It is a signal to your nervous system: “Something different is happening here. Pay attention. This matters.”

Over the next 21 days, this small space will become your anchor. It is where you will whisper your truths, where you will honor your process, where you will witness yourself being loved — by you.

Your Ritual Today

Create your self-love altar with three meaningful items, then seal your commitment to yourself:

  1. Find a small place — a shelf, table, or corner.
  2. Gather three things: something from nature (a stone, a leaf, a flower), something that reminds you of yourself as a child (a photo, a toy, a drawing), and a candle.
  3. Arrange them mindfully on your altar.
  4. Light the candle.
  5. Place one hand on your heart and speak: “I am here. I will stay with myself for 21 days.”
  6. Sit for a moment. Breathe.

Your Workbook

Today’s workbook page invites you to a baseline check-in: how are you doing with yourself right now, on a scale of 1 to 10? Write three reflection questions and your written intention for the 21 days ahead. This becomes your reference point.
